1. Who is responsible and how to contact us

SEOGEO.app operates the SEOGEO service. For privacy requests or questions, contact support@seogeo.app. For questions specifically about connected Google data, you may also contact integrations@seogeo.app.

2. Information we collect

Account and organization data, such as your name, email address, organization, role and authentication information.

Project data, including domains, project settings, competitors, audit findings, reports, recommendations and actions.

Public website content, metadata and technical signals collected from websites that you submit or are authorized to analyze.

Service and security data, such as logs, timestamps, browser/device information, IP-related security information and diagnostic events.

3. Google and other connected account data

If you connect Google Search Console, SEOGEO may access the properties available to the authorized Google account and read Search Console performance data such as pages, queries, countries, devices, clicks, impressions, click-through rate and average position.

If you connect Google Analytics, SEOGEO may access account/property metadata and read analytics reporting data needed for SEOGEO dashboards, monitoring and reports.

If you connect Bing Webmaster Tools or another supported service, SEOGEO may read the site and performance data you authorize for the same project-level monitoring and reporting purposes.

SEOGEO requests read-only access where read-only access is sufficient for the feature. We do not ask for your Google or Microsoft account password.

5. How Google user data is stored and protected

OAuth access and refresh tokens used by SEOGEO integrations are stored server-side in encrypted form and are not exposed to ordinary project users. SEOGEO may store the selected property identifiers, synchronized performance metrics and derived analysis needed to provide project history, reports and monitoring.

Access to project data is restricted according to account ownership, project assignment and administrative permissions.

6. Google API Limited Use

SEOGEO's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Google user data is used only to provide or improve user-facing SEOGEO features that you request. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it to train or improve generalized advertising, machine-learning or AI models. Service providers may process data only as necessary to operate user-facing SEOGEO features, security or legal compliance.

7. Sharing and service providers

We may share information with infrastructure, hosting, database, email, crawling, analytics, payment and other service providers acting on our behalf where needed to operate SEOGEO. We may also make project data available to SEOGEO personnel or contractors assigned to your project when the service includes managed auditing or consulting.

We do not sell personal information or Google user data. We may disclose information where required by law, to protect security and rights, or as part of a business transaction subject to applicable safeguards.

8. Retention, disconnection and deletion

We retain account and project data while needed to provide the service and for legitimate security, operational, contractual and legal purposes. Retention periods may differ by data type and plan.

You may disconnect a Google, Bing or other integration in SEOGEO or revoke SEOGEO access in the provider's account settings. Revocation stops future collection from that authorization. Previously synchronized project data may remain until it is deleted under the project's retention rules, account deletion process or applicable legal requirements.

9. Legal bases and your rights

Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, processing may be based on performance of a contract, your authorization or consent for connected services, legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, and compliance with legal obligations.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or export personal data, object to certain processing, withdraw consent where applicable, and complain to a competent data-protection authority. Contact support@seogeo.app to exercise applicable rights.

10. Cookies and similar technologies

SEOGEO uses cookies or similar technologies needed for authentication, security, language preferences and service operation. We also use Google Analytics 4 to understand website usage and improve SEOGEO. Google Analytics is activated only after the visitor accepts analytics cookies, and consent can be changed later through Cookie settings.

11. Security and international processing

We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including access controls and encryption for integration secrets. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

Our service providers may process information in different countries. Where required, we use appropriate contractual or legal safeguards for international transfers.

12. Children, changes and contact

SEOGEO is intended for business and professional use and is not directed to children.

We may update this Policy as the service changes. We will publish the updated version with a new revision date and provide additional notice where required.
